IT Network Engineer

Are you a Cisco Network specialist who, like us, is convinced that the network will ensure that IT and OT environments can truly be properly secured, with the latest technologies in visibility, dashboarding, network segmentation, traffic inspection, and filtering? Then you've come to the right team! As a Cisco partner, Qcast believes in the strength of its solutions, products, and technologies, which are ideally suited for complex and challenging environments where IT and OT converge, such as Smart Manufacturing, Smart Building, and Smart Logistics. We test, implement, and manage the latest technologies for our clients daily and are looking to strengthen our support team.

What will you be doing?

As an IT Network Engineer, you'll be a vital link in our Support team. You'll be the point of contact for customers in both office and production environments, ensuring optimal network operation and security every day. We'll monitor the operation, performance, and security of the networks and the devices and users who use them, continuously improving security based on the latest insights and signals we receive. This makes the work highly varied and relevant. You'll primarily be based in Oosterhout, with the option to work from home occasionally.

  • Network Management: You'll analyze and resolve network issues and be familiar with Cisco product configurations (Catalyst Center, ACI, ISE, SD-WAN, Routing, Switching, and Wireless).
  • IT Security and Compliance: You and the team will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the security of our networks, systems, and applications.
  • Customer Satisfaction: You'll diagnose, investigate, and improve networks and relevant documentation. You'll also be comfortable providing second- and third-line support for tickets within the agreed SLAs and ensuring efficient handling of technical issues.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with management and support of IT/OT networks, virtualization, and servers
  • Good knowledge of Cisco networks, products, and solutions

  • A competitive salary, commensurate with your experience
  • A challenging full-time position for 40 hours per week
  • Opportunities for hybrid working
  • 25 vacation days
  • Travel allowance or a company car with a permanent position
  • Organized lunches at the office and regular informal activities with the team
